Favicon Generator - Nice website touch
If you don’t know what a favicon is; it’s the little teeny tiny icon (favorite icon) that webmasters are able to integrate into their site code so that when you surf to the site, it provides the website owner with a bit of branding for their site and business. If you’re viewing this site in Internet Explorer (it may work with others, but I know IE for sure because I’m using it), look at the address bar at the top of your screen. Typically, there would be a little icon for Internet Explorer next to the http:// web address. However, (if our favicon is working properly) when you’re on our site, you should see a little icon that looks like a bar code. That’s our favicon.
Now, here’s another neat little trick. Go up to your “Favorites” button and save our site in your favorites folder. Now, when you see our site listed in your favorites, you should also see our little barcode logo there as well. Try copying and pasting that link to your desktop. Yep, you guessed it, a bigger favicon there will lead you back to IndieRetailer.com!
Do you have a website? Would you like to brand your site with a favicon? For Free???
