Don’t Miss A Chance to Attend The Destination Success Workshop
A few weeks ago John and I went to the LA Mart during the run of the California Gift Show.
I was scouting out new lines for our shop and for the first time and I was not overwhelmed by the selection of products. Perhaps not even ‘whelmed’. Not that there are not any great products out there. What had changed, was my attitude as a buyer and retailer. I’ve come to understand that the products alone do not make my business. Even if I were to fill my shop with thousands of dollars of new merchandise, it would not make me any more successful without considering other important factors and engaging other retail strategies.
This is one thing that I learned after spending time at Jon Shallert’s Destination Bootcamp. I highly recommend this business training experience to any and all retailers. There is a new seminar in September in Colorado and you may find this info on his website. Jon delivers the goods in an engaging manner that makes you look at how to truly make your business into a destination business. The only way I can describe it is that one is given the tools to develop your own retail pheronomes to where people are drawn to your business and are compelled to buy from you.
