Book Club for Marketers

Have you read any good books lately?
Independent business owners have little free time for reading. I would love to have the time to join a literary-minded book club, but most of my reading is business related. Luckily for those of us who like to keep up on marketing, the people at The Marketing Profs have created their own version of Oprah’s Book Club.

With the book club, you’ll have a chance to read a hot-new publication, give feedback, and read other people’s take on how well the author did on covering the ever-changing world of marketing.

The book club’s first choice is Citizen Marketers by Ben McConnell and Jackie Huba. The authors last book was Creating Customer Evangelists. This book spoke as to how one’s goal as a business was not just to sell to people but to convert customers to sing your business’ praises.

Hopefully in the new year we will resolve to read a little more, open up to new ideas, and take advantage of all the information available to us now.
